ISO-30415 at the White HOuse

This past week our CEO, James Felton Keith visited The White House's first LGBT Briefing for Black History Month and was able to engage all of the Federal Departments on the standardization of Diversity & Inclusion via the ISO-30415 standard.

Leaders from the President's Domestic Policy Council led the meeting and are committed to building the infrastructure that fosters economic inclusion across the many populations of the United States.

The event was well attended from Karine Jean-Pierre, the current White House press secretary to each of the 15 executive branch departments that report to the White House. We held this briefing on the heels of the Executive Order on Further Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through The Federal Government, which includes language about the regular audit of D&I across the government departments. As business people, we care most about the implementation of policy, not the policies

themselves. We were able to get a direct audience with decision makers from departments like Energy which has a heavy ESG (environment, social, and governance) focus under former Michigan Governor, Secretary Granholm, and Health & Human Services which is being guided in part by Admiral Rachel Levine, the U.S. assistant secretary for health and the nation’s highest-ranking openly transgender official. Levine was sworn in as an admiral of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.

The Admiral leads a 6,000-person force that responds to health crises on behalf of the federal government, including administering COVID vaccines.

There were about 50 Black-identifying LGBTIA+ leaders invited from across the United States to caucus on the furthering implementation of equitable measures as a process from the inside of the Federal Government, and JFK is confident that InclusionScore will be able to add some value on how actions/measures are delivered in The White House's participatory governance.
